The Workshop on Operator Theory, Complex Analysis, and Applications 2017 / WOTCA 2017 will take place in the building of the Department of Chemistry of Instituto Superior Técnico - University of Lisbon on 3-6 July 2017.

It aims to bring together researchers working in Operator Theory, Complex Analysis, and their applications, namely in Mathematical Physics, and to create an opportunity to highlight the current state of the art in these fields, present open problems and engage in fruitful discussions. 

This meeting follows the line of five previous workshops, WOTCA 2010, WOTCA 2012, 2-Day OTCA 2013, WOTCA 2014 and WOTCA 2016 .

The programme will consist of several invited 25+5 minute talks and a very small number of contributed talks/posters. A preliminary list of speakers is available here.

WOTCA 2017 has no registration fee and is open to everybody interested, but the number of participants will be restricted to a maximum of 50, in order to foster dialogue in a friendly atmosphere. Participation of young researchers and students is most welcome, and we hope this will also encourage contact between leading mathematicians and younger ones.
